JOB TITLE: Remote Java Developer
JOB LOCATION: Remote but need to be open to travel to Richmond VA or Atlanta GA when needed. Could be once a month or once a quarter
WAGE RANGE*: $45hr to $48hr

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
5+ year of overall IT experience
5 years of working experience as a Java developer
Experience with user interface design.
Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION
ā¢ Designs, develops documents, tests and debugs new and existing software systems and/or applications.
ā¢ Participates in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.
ā¢ Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.
ā¢ Consults with end user to prototype, refine, test and debug programs to meet needs.
ā¢ Creates technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
ā¢ Serves as technical expert on development projects.
ā¢ Identifies and evaluates new technologies for implementation.
ā¢ Creates/maintains documentation for software functionality; project planning; evaluations; budgeting, feedbacks and improvements.
ā¢ Provides estimates, budgets, project flow, client updates and meeting expectations along with keeping up to team aspirations.
ā¢ Minimizes risk, prepares for risk mitigation, keep project on track.
ā¢ Manages user requirements; provides timely project updates.
ā¢ Analyzes codes to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
ā¢ Provides feedback for performance appraisals of team members.
