We are seeking a meticulous Item Processing Assistant to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. In this pivotal role, you will play an essential part in ensuring the operational efficiency of our esteemed financial institution.
Key Responsibilities
Ā Process a range of check processing activities, utilizing channels such as Remote Deposit Capture and Branch Capture.
Ā Reconcile and address out-of-balance transactions, implementing necessary adjustments to uphold accuracy.
Ā Enter and reconcile electronic cash letter files while verifying computer output related to electronic transactions.
Ā Provide support to both internal and external customers regarding check-related inquiries through phone and written communication.
Ā Maintain compliance by performing all duties according to established procedures and guidelines.
Ā Collaborate with colleagues by contributing to departmental reports and assisting other departments as required.
Required Skills
Ā A minimum of one year of experience in Bank Operations or Retail Banking is preferred.
Ā Proficient in word processing, database management, and spreadsheet applications.
Ā Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with customers and team members.
Ā Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing tasks.
Ā Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary.
Qualifications
Ā High school diploma or equivalent is required.
