Job Summary:
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Providing technical assistance and support to teenagers via remote channels
Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues related to hardware, software, and network problems
Escalating complex technical problems to senior IT staff and following up until resolution
Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, hardware, and peripherals
Conducting regular system maintenance and updates to optimize performance and security
Assisting in setting up new computer workstations and software applications
Creating and maintaining documentation for IT processes and troubleshooting procedures
Collaborating with the IT team to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions
Providing technical training and support to teenagers to enhance their computer literacy
Staying updated with the latest technology trends and sharing knowledge with colleagues and teenagers
Required Skills:
Strong passion for technology and the ability to work with teenagers from diverse backgrounds
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think logically under pressure
Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and familiarity with Linux
Solid understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and common software applications
Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teenagers and team members
Ability to adapt quickly to changing technology and learning new tools and software
A positive and patient attitude towards providing customer support to teenagers
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications and IT-related courses are advantageous
