[Remote] IT Security Analyst - US

The IT Security Analyst supports the organization’s cybersecurity operations by protecting systems, networks, endpoints, and cloud environments from evolving threats, contributing to security monitoring, incident response, and compliance efforts.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and investigate alerts across SIEM, EDR/MDR, email security, and related monitoring platformsSupport incident response activities including investigation, containment, remediation, recovery, and documentationAssist with vulnerability management efforts by reviewing scan results, prioritizing risks, and coordinating remediation activitiesSupport PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and related compliance initiatives through evidence collection, documentation updates, and audit supportMaintain and support cybersecurity technologies including endpoint protection, SIEM, vulnerability management, and email security platformsParticipate in security reviews for new technologies, vendors, and system changes to identify and communicate potential risksCollaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to support secure configurations, firewall reviews, segmentation efforts, and cloud security practicesPrepare operational reports, incident summaries, and security documentation for leadership reviewStay current on cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to support continuous improvement across the environmentSkillsBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience2–4 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, or a related technical roleExperience with EDR/MDR platforms such as SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Arctic Wolf, or similar technologiesFamiliarity with SIEM tools including Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Datadog, or comparable solutionsKnowledge of vulnerability management tools such as Tenable or QualysExperience with email security platforms including Proofpoint, Mimecast, or similar solutionsUnderstanding of identity and access management concepts including SSO, MFA, RBAC, and user access reviewsGeneral knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, networking, firewalls, VLANs, and secure configuration practicesExposure to security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, or compliance activities preferredExperience supporting PCI DSS, ISO 27001, or similar control frameworks is a plusCompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferredCompTIA CySA+, CEH, or similar cybersecurity certifications are a plusInterest in pursuing advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 credentials welcomedBenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage effective immediately401(k) plan with company contributionsLife insurance and short-term disability coverageHSA/FSA options and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Paid time off, including vacation, holidays, and personal daysWeekly pay, employee discounts, and moreCompany OverviewMarcone Supply is a logistics company that offers appliance parts.
