The company is seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to lead technology integration during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless integration of IT systems while minimizing business disruptions.ResponsibilitiesLead IT Integration Projects: Manage end-to-end IT integration lifecycle for M&A transactions, from due diligence through post-close integrationDue Diligence Support: Collaborate with corporate development and IT leadership to assess technology landscapes, risks, and opportunities of target companiesIntegration Planning: Develop detailed IT integration plans, timelines, and budgets aligned with business goals and deal strategyStakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between IT, business units, vendors, and acquired entities to ensure alignment and communicationRisk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to data migration, system compatibility, cybersecurity, and complianceChange Management: Drive user adoption and change management strategies to support smooth transitionsReporting & Governance: Provide regular updates to executive leadership on project status, milestones, risks, and KPIsVendor Coordination: Manage third-party vendors and consultants involved in integration activitiesSkillsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field5+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 2 years focused on M&A integrationsProven track record of managing complex, cross-functional IT projects in a fast-paced environmentStrong understanding of IT infrastructure, enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HRIS), cybersecurity, and cloud technologiesFamiliarity with data migration, system consolidation, and IT compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR)Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders across global teamsProficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence)Experience with private equity-backed M&A transactionsFamiliarity with ITIL or Agile methodologiesExperience in post-merger integration (PMI) playbook developmentBenefitsFlexible Work EnvironmentPaid Parental LeaveMedicalDentalVisionLife and AD&D InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off + HolidaysCompany OverviewVerdantas is a firm that solves complex natural and built environment problems and partners with clients.
