[Remote] IT Project Management Advisor

The Cigna Group is a global leader in health services, and they are seeking an IT Project Management Advisor to oversee the implementation of Lean Business Cases. The role involves managing delivery processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and collaborating with stakeholders to mitigate risks and deliver value on time.ResponsibilitiesRepresent the Delivery Domain and provide guidance on level of effort, capacity, and commitments during decomposition of scope and valueManage delivery activities with visibility across Jira boards, ensuring Epics meet the Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD)Provide accurate reporting of metrics, schedule expectations, status, and roadmap alignmentServe as a point of escalation for issues, risks, impediments, and conflictsEnsure financial reporting for Epics, including budgets, forecasts, estimates, and actualsUnderstand internal and external factors that impact the scope, timing, and cost of delivery workProvide regular status updates and reports to senior management and stakeholdersEnsure collaboration and alignment across key personnel, including product, engineering, architecture, and business partnersResponsible for proactively identifying risks related to financials, scope, resource, capacity, and delivery. Ensure risks are mitigated, issues are resolved, resource gaps are addressed, and the delivery of value remains on targetFoster an environment of continuous improvement using appropriate measures and metricsPromote best practices in delivery processesEngage with and provide support for deployments and releases as neededReview LBC financials, evaluating against the approved financial targets and benefits goalsEnsure the creation of action plans to address variances and effectively manage change controlsSkillsMinimum of 5 years of experience in project management or delivery management roles, preferably within HealthcarePMP or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirableStrong technical aptitude and experience leading teams in delivering quality software using Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or other scaling modelsStrong product-oriented mindset - customer centric, outcome-focused, empowered teamsStrong enterprise-oriented mindsetStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesProficiency in project and delivery management tools and software, including JiraStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to manage multiple initiatives simultaneouslyDetail-oriented and highly organizedProactive and able to work independentlyAdaptable to changing requirements, priorities, and ambiguityBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related fieldA Master's degree is a plusPMI - PMP desiredScaled Agile Inc certification desired (SPC, SA, SSM, PO)BenefitsMedicalDentalVision401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met)Company OverviewThe Cigna Group is a healthcare firm that focuses on providing hospital services and innovative solutions for better health.
