[Remote] IT Operations Data Historian Administrator

They are seeking an IT Operations Data Historian Administrator to support, maintain, and optimize enterprise data historian systems, ensuring data integrity and system performance across operational environments.ResponsibilitiesAdminister and maintain data historian platforms, ensuring high availability and optimal performanceMonitor system health, storage utilization, and data collection processesPerform upgrades, patches, and system backups/recovery activitiesManage interfaces, connectors, and data ingestion pipelinesEnsure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of time-series dataConfigure data tags, compression, and retention policiesTroubleshoot data gaps, latency, and integrity issuesImplement data governance and security best practicesSupport real-time and batch data flows across systemsCollaborate with IT, engineering, and operations teams to deliver data solutionsAssist users with data access, reporting tools, and visualization platformsAnalyze system performance and recommend improvementsOptimize queries, data retrieval, and storage strategiesIdentify opportunities for automation and efficiency gainsMaintain technical documentation for system configurations, procedures, and standardsProvide training and support for end users and technical teamsDevelop best practices and operational playbooksSkillsBachelor's Degree in MIS, computer science, mathematics, or other related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and the following job related experienceHands-on experience with data historian platforms (e.g., OSIsoft PI, AVEVA/Wonderware Historian, Ignition)Strong understanding of time-series data, data collection, and industrial protocols (OPC, MQTT, Modbus, etc.)Experience with Windows Server environments and system administrationKnowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls)Proficiency in scripting or querying (PowerShell, SQL, Python preferred)Strong troubleshooting and analytical skillsSkills in: use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable softwareAbility to: apply math, algebra, and statistical methodsAbility to: interact, advise and communicate effectivelyAbility to: develop information, conduct meetings and make presentationsAbility to: read and write fluently in EnglishAbility to: communicate and/or exchange information or instruction; conduct oral presentations and/or meetingsCompany OverviewONEOK is a midstream service provider that gathers, processes, transports, and stores natural gas and natural gas liquids.
