[Remote] IT Business Analyst

As an IT Business Analyst, you will modernize and scale the enterprise technology landscape by optimizing business systems, evaluating new technologies, and integrating AI solutions into workflows.ResponsibilitiesPartner with stakeholders across all business functions to understand workflows, pain points, and strategic objectivesLead requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, and cross-functional workshopsTranslate business and clinical needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, system documentation, and process mapsSupport optimization of enterprise systems including but not limited to: HRIS, CRM, marketing automation platforms, analytics tools, and healthcare data platformsCollaborate with IT, Security, Engineering and Product teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and integrated system solutionsBuild system enhancements and implementations that align with HITRUST control requirements, HIPAA standards, and internal governance policiesIdentify opportunities to integrate AI and automation into business workflows while maintaining compliance and data integrityEvaluate AI-powered tools for operational fit, scalability, security, privacy, and regulatory compliancePartner with Security and Compliance teams to conduct vendor risk assessments consistent with HITRUST, HIPAA, and internal third-party risk management processesLead or support technology acquisition initiatives including RFP development, cost-benefit analysis, and vendor due diligenceMaintain documentation of vendor assessments, risk evaluations, and mitigation plans in alignment with audit requirementsDevelop executive-ready reporting, dashboards, and status updates to communicate project impact and vendor risk postureSkillsBachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, IT Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role; exceptional candidates with fewer years of experience, but demonstrated depth in evaluating, implementing, or operationalizing AI and automation solutions in a business environment will be consideredExperience working in a regulated industry such as financial services or healthcareExperience operating within a regulated compliance environment (e.g., HITRUST, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, SOX, FINRA, or similar frameworks)Experience gathering and documenting functional and technical requirements across enterprise systemsExperience supporting system implementations, vendor evaluations, or third-party integrationsStrong understanding of healthcare data privacy and security principlesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project environmentsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience in healthcare technology, digital health, or regulated SaaS environmentsExperience working in or supporting a HITRUST-certified environmentExperience integrating AI or automation tools into business workflowsExperience evaluating AI vendors, including data governance and compliance considerationsExperience supporting HRIS, CRM, marketing automation, or revenue operations systemsExperience with system integrations, APIs, and data mappingFamiliarity with SQL, reporting tools, or analytics platformsCertifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Security+, CISA, or related credentialsBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision insurance401kEquity optionsCompany OverviewxCuresÂŽ operates an AI-assisted healthcare data platform that reduces the operational burden of working with complex medical records.
