[Remote] IT Asset Management Data Analyst

Gritter Francona is seeking an IT Asset Management Research & Data Analyst to support a federal Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) program. This role will provide data analysis, reporting, dashboarding, and performance measurement support focused on improving asset accountability and operational decision-making.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze ITAM data related to hardware assets, software assets, inventory accuracy, software license compliance, asset utilization, refresh cycles, lifecycle cost, and data qualityDevelop dashboards, reports, visualizations, and recurring data products to support program performance monitoring and leadership decision-makingCollect, clean, validate, reconcile, and interpret data from ITAM tools, CMDBs, ServiceNow reporting, asset repositories, spreadsheets, and other program data sourcesIdentify trends, gaps, anomalies, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities within ITAM datasets and reporting processesSupport development and tracking of ITAM performance metrics, key performance indicators, compliance measures, and operational reporting requirementsPrepare clear summaries, charts, tables, data narratives, and briefing materials that communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholdersSupport strategic planning, process optimization, governance, compliance, and audit readiness activities through quantitative analysis and data-driven insightsAssist with data calls, ad hoc analyses, oversight inquiries, and leadership requests related to ITAM performance, asset visibility, software compliance, or operational readinessWork with program managers, analysts, subject matter experts, and government stakeholders to define data requirements, validate assumptions, and refine reporting outputsMaintain organized data files, reporting documentation, assumptions, methodologies, and quality control procedures to support repeatable analysis and traceabilityRecommend opportunities to improve ITAM reporting, data governance, dashboard design, and data quality managementSkillsBachelor's degreeMinimum of 6 years of relevant experienceExperience performing data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, or performance measurement for IT, operations, business, or management consulting programsExperience collecting, cleaning, validating, reconciling, and analyzing structured data from multiple sourcesExperience developing reports, dashboards, data visualizations, charts, tables, and written summaries for client or leadership audiencesStrong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, issues, outliers, data quality concerns, and actionable insightsStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain data findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholdersProficiency with Microsoft Excel and Power BIExperience with SQL, Tableau, Python or R, ServiceNow reporting, CMDBs, and asset repositoriesU.S. citizenship requiredExperience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal civilian agency programsExperience supporting IT Asset Management, Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, IT governance, IT service management, enterprise IT operations, or IT modernization programsExperience analyzing ITAM metrics such as asset utilization, inventory accuracy, software license compliance, refresh cycle optimization, lifecycle cost, and data qualityExperience supporting audit readiness, compliance reviews, data calls, GAO, OIG, Congressional, or other oversight-related responsesFamiliarity with ITAM data sources, asset lifecycle processes, CMDB concepts, software license reporting, or hardware inventory reconciliationExperience developing executive-level dashboards, recurring status reports, performance scorecards, or operational reporting packagesExperience documenting data assumptions, methodologies, quality checks, and reporting proceduresExperience working in remote delivery environments with geographically dispersed teamsBenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Short Term & Long Term DisabilityTraining & DevelopmentCompany OverviewGritter Francona specializes in health care, human resource management and IT solutions to government.
