The role involves performing audits, writing findings, applying software fixes, and conducting training on accessibility-related topics.ResponsibilitiesPerform complete audits and validation testing on cell phonesWrite detailed findings to document identified issues and recommend potential solutions and best practices for remediation of accessibility violationsApply software fixes and/or additional accessibility features within the target software source codeDevelop and deliver informative and useful high quality outreach/educational presentationsPrepare and conduct training on accessibility related topicsSkillsB.A. or B.S. in computer science, information technology, human computer interaction, or related field preferredKnowledge of, as well as ability to test against, Section 508 and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 requirements for IT software and hardwareCell phone hardware testing experienceExperience in Section 1194.23 Telecommunications ProductsExperience with ANSI standard C63.19, 'American National Standard for Methods of Measurement of Compatibility between Wireless Communications Devices and Hearing Aids'Use of appropriate test equipment to measure and determine Hearing Aid Compatible (HAC) Ratings (such as, M3, T4)Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail for heavy documentation; verbal communication skills for training and developmentExperience working effectively with several clients or project teams simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentPossession of relevant certifications such as DHS Trusted Tester, IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies 'CPACC', IAAP Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) CredentialCompany OverviewTestPros brings the latest relevant software life-cycle process methodologies, process improvement methods, test/QA methodologies, tools and industry best-practice knowledge to our customers.
