Mutual of Omaha is seeking a highly collaborative and strategic IS Agile Project Manager II to join their Institutional Solutions Agile Release Train (ART). This role involves leading at least two Agile teams focused on driving a multi-year modernization initiative for institutional annuity and pension risk transfer capabilities, partnering with various stakeholders to deliver strategic business outcomes.ResponsibilitiesLead Agile delivery execution for **at least two** cross functional teams within the Institutional Solutions ART supporting strategic modernization initiativesFacilitate Agile ceremonies including PI Planning, sprint planning, stand ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement activitiesPartner closely with Product Owners, Solution Leads, business stakeholders, and IS Leadership to align priorities and drive delivery outcomesProactively identify, manage, and escalate risks, dependencies, blockers, and delivery challenges across multiple teamsDrive coordination and collaboration across Agile Project Managers and partner teams to support complex, multi-team initiativesSupport capacity planning, forecasting, resource coordination, and roadmap execution to improve delivery predictabilityUtilize Jira, Confluence, and enterprise planning tools to monitor delivery health, communicate progress, and improve operational transparencyFoster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and high-quality business value deliverySkills5+ years of Agile Project Management experience supporting technology initiativesMust have demonstrated experience in complex risk management and facilitating complex trade-off decision making across multiple senior level stakeholdersExperience leading multiple cross functional Agile teams in enterprise environmentsStrong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks, project management practices, and scaled Agile delivery modelsDemonstrated experience managing risks, dependencies, stakeholder communication, and delivery coordination across multiple teamsProven ability to balance strategic planning with day to day executionStrong facilitation, communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skillsExperience partnering effectively with both technical and business stakeholdersAbility to proactively drive action, solve problems, and lead through ambiguityExperience using Agile delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira and ConfluenceIndirect leadership experience with the ability to influence without direct authorityCommitment to fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and continuous improvement oriented cultureAbility to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and in a listed locationAble to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto RicoPMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or similar Agile/project management certificationsExperience working within Agile Release Trains (ARTs) or scaled Agile organizationsExperience supporting large-scale modernization or digital transformation initiativesExperience managing complex cross-team dependencies within enterprise programsFamiliarity with Dragonboat or similar program/project portfolio management toolsExperience utilizing engineering delivery metrics and software delivery intelligence platformsBackground supporting modern application development teams utilizing APIs, cloud, or modern engineering practicesBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Technology, or related fieldStrong continuous improvement mindset with a passion for operational excellence and delivery optimizationBenefitsPlus annual bonus.401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.Work-life balance with vacation, personal time and paid holidays.Company OverviewMutual Of Omaha is a mutual insurance and financial services company helping clients achieve their financial goals.
