About the Role:
As an iOS Home Video Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Designing and developing high-performance, scalable, and secure video processing and streaming solutions for HomeKit-enabled devices
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and product management, to deliver seamless and intuitive user experiences
Optimizing application performance, ensuring fast live video start and rapid access to recorded video clips
Working with various video codecs, compression algorithms, and streaming protocols to ensure high-quality video transmission and reception
Developing and maintaining software architectures, frameworks, and tools to support the growth of the Home ecosystem
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in iOS development, with a strong focus on video processing, streaming, and security
Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, and relevant development tools and frameworks
Excellent understanding of video codecs, compression algorithms, and streaming protocols
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
