[Remote] Investment Solutions Consultant

They are seeking an Investment Solutions Consultant to connect with agents, develop business relationships, and drive investment sales through providing product information and sales support.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with agents who are part of a captive agency sales force to develop and maintain strong business relationshipsDevelop a strong command of New York Life’s investment products (annuities/mutual funds) and sales processesProvide case development and design supportIntroduce new product enhancements to field management and agents with particular emphasis on individual needs, markets, and tax issues of investment productsDeliver sales presentations to both agents and clientsProvide sales support and product information through individual face-to-face meetings as well as large group sessionsProactively work with managementSkillsBachelor's Degree preferred and/or equivalent experienceMotivated and energetic individual with the ability to drive objectives relatively autonomouslyApproximately 5 years of wholesaling experience in annuity/investment productsA broad and comprehensive knowledge of the annuity business, an understanding of the sales process and the dynamics of selling annuity/mutual fund productsIndustry recognized designations such as RICP, CHFC, CFP are highly desirableExcellent communication skills are essentialAbility to build and maintain strong business relationshipsLife license, Series 6 or Series 7 and Series 63 registrationsUnderstanding of Advanced Markets, a plusFrequent travel is required, potentially up to 100% of the timeThis role requires FINRA licensed and/or FINRA Associated Person pre-hire fingerprintingBenefitsLeave programsAdoption assistanceStudent loan repayment programsCompany OverviewFor over 180 years, we’ve helped turn your biggest dreams into milestones that last a lifetime.
