[Remote] Internal Medicine Physician – Advisory Board Member
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Fruit Street Health is a CDC-recognized diabetes prevention program designed to help patients with prediabetes prevent the progression to Type 2 diabetes through diet and lifestyle changes. The Advisory Board Member will provide strategic clinical guidance on integrating diabetes prevention programs into internal medicine practices and population health initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Advocate for referrals of prediabetic patients into the program
• Provide insights on managing prediabetes in adult populations
• Advise on integration with primary care and internal medicine practices
• Engage with insurers, employers, and healthcare executives to expand program adoption
• Attend major conferences such as the annual ACP conference on behalf of Fruit Street
Skills
• Board-certified internal medicine physician (MD/DO)
• Experience managing chronic metabolic disease
• Interest in preventative medicine and digital health innovation
• Passion for improving patient outcomes through early intervention
