[Remote] Interim Billing System Implementation Consultant

The consultant will lead the selection and implementation of a billing system to establish a robust billing infrastructure that supports revenue operations and long-term growth.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate existing credit card processing infrastructureMap the end-to-end revenue cycle, including:1. Insurance verification2. Claims submission and payer follow-up3. Remittance and payment posting4. Denial management5. Accounts receivable and collections6. Month-end reconciliationDefine billing requirements across patient invoicing and insurance reimbursement workflows, ensuring regulatory alignmentRecommend and implement a billing platform/solution tailored to organizational scale, payer mix, and compliance needsDesign and configure:1. Billing workflows and templates2. Payer profiles and coding structures3. Payment categories and reporting fields4. Denial tracking mechanismsDevelop seamless integration with QuickBooks, including:1. Chart of accounts mapping2. Invoice and payment synchronization3. Cash application and reconciliation4. Adjustments, write-offs, and refund trackingEstablish scalable processes, controls, and governance frameworks to support increased transaction volume as the company growsDevelop and document standard operating procedures for billing, reconciliation, exception handling, and reportingDefine and implement key performance metrics, including:1. Cash collections2. Days sales outstanding (DSO)3. Aging and receivables health4.
