The role involves designing clear, accessible digital interactions for government services, collaborating with various stakeholders to create effective design solutions.ResponsibilitiesYou'll own the interaction design across features and flows, from early concepts through to production-ready patterns, working closely with user researchers, content designers, and developers to ship things that actually workYou'll know when to follow an established pattern and when to challenge itSkillsProven experience designing interactions for government or public sector servicesDeep familiarity with the GOV.UK Design System and when to deviate from itStrong prototyping skills; you can build something testable quicklyA clear, evidence-based approach to design decisionsUnderstanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2) and what inclusive design means in practiceBenefitsRemote status: Fully flexible!
