[Remote] Intellectual Property Attorney (Patent)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. FLEX by Fenwick is a service offering of the law firm Fenwick & West that provides high-quality attorneys to technology and life sciences companies in need of interim in-house counsel. They are currently seeking IP attorneys with expertise in patent law to assist with various responsibilities related to patent management and enforcement.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Conducting patent harvesting sessions and invention disclosure meetings
ā¢ Identifying and developing patentable ideas for filing
ā¢ Managing IP/patent portfolios
ā¢ Analyzing patents and potential enforcement issues
ā¢ Researching, drafting, and filing patent applications with the USPTO, in conjunction with outside counsel
ā¢ Negotiating and drafting patent licensing agreements and technology transfer contracts
Skills
ā¢ Expertise in patent law
