[Remote] Integration Engineer (CRM/HRIS)

The Integration Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining integrations between Light's platform and various CRM and HRM systems, ensuring seamless data flow for customers.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain integrations with major CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive) and HRM systems (BambooHR, Personio, Deel, Workday)Own the integration patterns and shared libraries for CRM/HRM connectorsWork directly with customers during onboarding to configure and troubleshoot their integrationsDocument APIs and integration approaches so the team can scale knowledgeTriage and resolve integration-related production issuesPartner with Product to prioritise which connectors to build next based on customer demandSkillsStrong backend engineering (Kotlin preferred, Java/JVM acceptable)Experience building and maintaining third-party API integrationsComfortable with OAuth flows, webhooks, rate limiting, and the messiness of real-world APIsPostgreSQL knowledgeFamiliarity with at least one major CRM or HRM platform's APIPragmatic approach - these integrations need to work reliably, not win architecture awardsPractical experience using AI or emerging technology tools to improve productivity, insight, or decision-making, with the ability to apply first-principles thinking to new problemsExperience with financial data or ERP integrationsPrevious work in a B2B SaaS environmentExposure to AWS (EKS, Lambda, RDS)BenefitsA competitive salary + potential stock options25 days of annual leave + public holidays in the country where you are based.Regular socials and company off-sitesA huge opportunity for career growth as you'll help shape a market-defining product.Company OverviewLight is a financial platform that offers fully automated general ledger and other accounting solution services for multinational companies.
