[Remote] Int Claims Spec/Asst

The Int Claims Spec/Asst role involves handling the initial processing and follow-up of life and annuity claims, ensuring accurate documentation and communication with beneficiaries. Responsibilities Respond to claims notices received from the Call Center or other sources Identify all policies held by the insured within multiple company admin systems Prepare new claim file in AWD system with information for the Examiner who will pay/deny the claim Monitor for requested information and send follow up letters on pending claims as needed Mail claim forms and correspondence to beneficiary or representative Handle escheat prep or other actions as needed Track production numbers Skills High school diploma or equivalent One year of claims or related processing experience Good understanding of claims and insured search protocol Research skills and attention to detail Organizational skills PC proficiency to handle high volume processing Life and/or annuity claims experience Benefits Pension Plan 401k Match Employee Stock Purchase Plan Tuition Reimbursement Disability Insurance Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Employee Discounts Career Training & Development Opportunities Paid Time Off starting at 160 hours annually for employees in their first year of service.
