They are seeking an Inside Sales Manager to build and lead a team of Inside Sales Consultants, focusing on driving revenue growth and expanding customer relationships across assigned territories.ResponsibilitiesRecruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop a team of Inside Sales ConsultantsEstablish a high-performance culture focused on accountability, customer success, continuous improvement, and achievement of sales goalsConduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions, team meetings, call reviews, and performance evaluationsDevelop individualized coaching and development plans to enhance sales effectiveness and career growthReinforce consultative selling methodologies, territory management best practices, and customer engagement strategiesRecognize and reward high performance while proactively addressing performance gapsLead the team in achieving or exceeding revenue, pipeline, activity, and customer engagement goalsMonitor and manage sales performance through established KPIs, dashboards, and reporting toolsDrive pipeline creation and opportunity progression through effective prospecting, account planning, and territory managementEnsure consistent execution of outbound sales activities, customer follow-up, and opportunity managementPartner with consultants on strategic opportunities and high-value accounts to support successful outcomesAnalyze territory performance and recommend adjustments to improve productivity and growthManage sales forecasting processes and provide accurate revenue projections to leadershipEnsure consistent CRM utilization, data integrity, opportunity management, and sales reportingDevelop and monitor sales activity metrics, pipeline health, conversion rates, and forecast accuracyIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities within the business and implement action plans accordinglyUtilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and improve team effectivenessMaintain a strong understanding of educational trends, instructional priorities, funding opportunities, and market dynamicsSupport consultants in developing relationships with district administrators, curriculum leaders, instructional coaches, and other decision-makersAssist in the development and execution of strategic account plans for key customers and growth opportunitiesCollaborate with Marketing on lead generation campaigns, customer outreach initiatives, and promotional programsCollaborate with Sales Leadership to establish goals, priorities, and performance expectationsProvide market feedback and customer insights to Product Management, Marketing, and Executive LeadershipSupport organizational initiatives, product launches, and sales enablement programsFoster strong collaboration across departments to drive customer satisfaction and business growthSkills5+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in education materials, EdTech, publishing, or related industries2+ years of sales leadership, coaching, or team management experienceDemonstrated success achieving revenue goals and leading high-performing sales teamsBachelor's degree requiredExperience with CRM platforms, sales analytics, forecasting, and pipeline managementStrong virtual selling and coaching experienceFlexible with time zonesAbility to travel up to 10-20% for team meetings, customer events, conferences, and trainingYou have 2+ years of inside sales experienceYou have 2+ years of inside sales managementYou've launched an inside sales teamYou've sold across a broad portfolio of productsYou have experience in hiringYou have experience in developing and coaching sales professionals to success and promotion (with examples)BenefitsCompetitive salaryMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid vacation, sick time, and company holidays401(k) with employer matchChildcare reimbursement supportPlus more!Company OverviewTeacher Created Materials is one of the most recognized names in educational publishing.
