Hyperion Materials & Technologies is seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager to drive revenue and profitability by prospecting new customers and expanding sales among existing accounts. The role involves managing customer relationships, developing sales strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction with Hyperion products and services.ResponsibilitiesManage relationships with approximately 150 existing and potential Hyperion customers. Contacts customers via email and phone call to drive sales. Identify opportunities to grow revenue and profitabilityAnalyzes prior product sales to customers and identifies opportunities. Collaborate with sales manager to develop a sales strategyDevelop product knowledge to share with customers and respond to their questionsCollaborates with segment manager on pricing, and terms. Closes the sale and follow up on paymentsEnsure customers pay in a timely manner. Make follow-up calls regarding paymentsDevelops pre-call planners, writes summary reports and enters in CRM. Utilizes CRM for customer communication and follow upServes as liaison between customer and field sales reps. Coordinates onsite visits or consultations with field sales when neededCollaborate with customer service to ensure customer orders have been entered. Responds to concerns raised by customers about delivery times and invoicingFollows up with customers and escalates issues internally as neededFollow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction with Hyperion products and servicesAchieve or exceed monthly sales quotasAttend sales meetings to understand company strategies and provide insightSkillsHigh school diploma required; College degree preferred4-6 years of experience in technical sales in a manufacturing business to business environmentExperience in Microsoft Dynamics or similar system a plusAbility to navigate a complex organization and execute across multiple functionsSelf-Starter and highly motivatedStrong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and organizational skillsExperience with CRM and industrial business-to-business productsProven professionalism with the ability to use discretion and sound business judgmentProficiency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and ExcelHigh attention to detail requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentTravel - 4 times per year for internal meetingsCompany OverviewHyperion Materials & Technologies is a global, full-line provider of innovative cemented carbide, diamond and cubic boron nitride solutions.
