Remote Information Architect - $35/Hour - Immediate Start
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Information Architect to join our team at Wayfair, working remotely and earning a competitive salary of $35/hour. As an Information Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing large data platforms and business analytics solutions to enable self-service analysis and reporting for our business stakeholders.
Job Summary:
In this role, you will work closely with business clients and technical teams to develop tools and datasets that enable data-driven decision-making. You will design and implement data architectures, data pipelines, reporting, data analysis, processes, and quality controls to support business intelligence. Responsibilities:
Design and implement large data platforms and business analytics solutions to support data-driven analysis and reporting
Build data architectures, data pipelines, reporting, data analysis, processes, and quality controls to enable self-service business intelligence
Develop curated datasets that are easily consumed by non-technical users
Collaborate with business clients and technical teams to build metrics and attributes that address broad business needs
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Economics, Management, or other quantitative discipline
Ability to commit to working 40 hours/week (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday) from January 8, 2024-June 21, 2024
Strong technical skills, including experience with SQL and Python
Excellent business acumen, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience implementing data-driven solutions, such as reporting, algorithms, or data integration systems
Programming experience with at least one language, such as Python, Scala, Java, or C++
Strong written and verbal communication skills
