[Remote] Implementation Project Manager - UKG Ready

The Implementation Project Manager will lead client implementations, manage multiple projects, and ensure successful delivery while fostering a collaborative team environment.ResponsibilitiesLead end‑to‑end implementations for mid‑market payroll and HRIS clients, from kickoff through go‑live and transition to ongoing supportManage 8-10 concurrent client projects, adjusting scope and oversight based on complexity and sizeCreate and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependenciesServe as the primary point of accountability for project delivery—ensuring timelines, scope, and quality standards are metFacilitate client discovery, set clear expectations, and drive accountability for client deliverablesProvide consistent, transparent communication through weekly status updates, risk logs, and stakeholder touchpointsProactively identify risks, issues, and scope changes; apply sound judgment and mitigation strategies to keep projects on trackLead, coach, and develop a team of Implementation Consultants responsible for Payroll, Time & Labor, and HR configurationsBalance delegation with oversight ensuring work is completed accurately, on time, and aligned with best practicesProvide performance feedback, support skill development, and encourage ownership and growth within the teamFoster a collaborative team environment grounded in trust, accountability, and high standardsPartner with internal stakeholders to improve implementation methodologies, documentation, tools, and workflowsHelp evolve project management and implementation practices in a growing, fast‑moving organizationApply critical thinking to ambiguous or evolving situations—bringing structure without over‑engineeringContribute to a culture of continuous improvement, curiosity, and shared learningSkillsProven success in project management, ideally in payroll, HRIS, or service‑bureau environmentsPeople leadership or team supervisory experience, with demonstrated success developing othersExperience managing client‑facing software or platform implementations, preferably with shorter (6-8 week) implementation cyclesStrong understanding UKG Ready, including payroll, time & labor, and/or HR implementations strongly preferredProficiency with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, or similar)Excellent project planning, prioritization, and execution skillsStrong client communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and confidentlyProven ability to think critically, assess tradeoffs, and make sound decisions in dynamic environmentsAnalytical, solutions‑oriented mindset with a focus on root cause analysisComfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on executionAbility to lead through influence, accountability, and clarity - internally and externallyStrong understanding UKG Ready, including payroll, time & labor, and/or HR implementations strongly preferredProject management certificationBenefitsHealth, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance401k/profit-sharingPaid time off and holidaysFlexible work arrangementsPaid parental leave100% remote work environment (U.S.-based; Central, Mountain, Pacific Time zones preferred)Company OverviewPayroll, HR and Compliance for small and mediums sized businesses.
