[Remote] Implementation Engineer (Cisco)

Dice is seeking an Implementation Engineer (Cisco) to meet client-specific requirements and ensure compatibility with existing IT infrastructures. The role involves rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and providing documentation for new systems while coordinating with project managers for timely project delivery.ResponsibilitiesMeet client-specific requirements| ensuring compatibility with their existing IT infrastructure and systemsPerform rigorous testing of systems to ensure stability| efficiency| and security before full-scale implementationProvide detailed documentation and standard operating procedures for the client| ensuring they understand the new systems and any changes madeTroubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the implementation phase| offering timely and effective solutionsCoordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of implementation projectsEvaluate post-implementation system performance| making adjustments as necessary and providing ongoing support and optimization servicesSkillsBachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, finance or related field or technical training. Must have strong analytical skillsMinimum of 3 years experience required in technical role in the following focus areas Data Center, Cisco Nexus Platform switches, Arista, Arista CVP desired, BGP, Automation experience must have AnsibleAbility to be nimble and flexible prioritize workload, proactively react to issues and consistently react to shifting deadlines. Ability to work weekends (as needed) for migration workSoft skill - Leadership be a self-starter, self-directed and shows initiative. Focused on execution, delivery and commitment to dates. Ability to work in a high paced environmentCan manage risk is a good decision maker.
