[Remote] Immigration Attorney- Legal Analysis

Responsibilities
ā¢ Conduct thorough legal analysis of immigration files received via FOIA requests to identify potential relief and case options
ā¢ Perform comprehensive screenings of client documents and histories to assess eligibility for immigration benefits or relief
ā¢ Work in a high-volume environment, efficiently managing multiple case files and deadlines
ā¢ Provide detailed recommendations for next steps in legal cases, ensuring a clear understanding of nuanced immigration issues
ā¢ Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to ensure accurate and timely file reviews
ā¢ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws and regulations across all areas of practice relevant to the firm
ā¢ Document findings and recommendations in a clear, organized manner for internal use and client communication
Skills
ā¢ At least 3-5 years of Immigration Law Experience
ā¢ Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex legal documents and histories
ā¢ Record of moving legal cases forward and an ability to manage a caseload
ā¢ Active Bar membership in any U.S. jurisdiction
ā¢ Familiarity with immigration law, including family-based petitions, asylum, removal defense, and other key areas
ā¢ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ā¢ Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
