[Remote] I&E Business Development Manager

The I&E Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating revenue for the Electrical Business Unit and supporting business development efforts across other units as needed.ResponsibilitiesFind new opportunities for the Electrical Business Unit in the specified markets including but not limited to: Oil & Gas, Renewable Natural Gas, Data Centers, Solar and others as directed by the Director of Business DevelopmentBuild relationships with current and potential decision makers within each accountDevelop strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote growth and customer satisfactionAssist BD Team Members with Electrical sales efforts, including client calls and in-person meetingsFind creative ways to increase the market’s awareness of the Clients Energy Service’s Electrical Business UnitCommunicate with the Electrical Operations team to develop sales strategies for each individual projectStay up to date with market trends and activity of competitorsProvide frequent updates regarding market conditions and trends to ensure competitive strategic and tactical pricing strategiesAttend industry events and conferences to network, build relationships and find new opportunitiesKeep accounts, contacts and opportunities updated in the CRM (Salesforce)Make cold calls to expand client basePromote and prospect opportunities for all other Business UnitsAttend bid walks on behalf of the Electrical Business UnitParticipate in and provide input for bid review meetingsRegularly visit job sites to maintain rapport with the crew team members and identify opportunities for improvementPerform other related duties as assignedSkills5-10+ years of experience in an outside sales role specifically to electrical construction servicesKnowledge of how I&E work is bid, negotiated and awarded to target marketsStrong presentation and communication skillsAbility to maintain I&E contracts and opportunities in the CRMDemonstrated ability to hit targets and strategize for growthExperience supporting field-based electrical servicesAlignment with the Company's Core ValuesCompany OverviewLONGHORN STAFFING SOLUTIONS aims to bridge the gap between companies and the qualified candidates necessary to fill any position within an organization.
