[Remote] ICT Lead Auditor

X4 Engineering is a globally recognized leader in Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) services, seeking a Lead Auditor to lead and deliver third-party audits. This role blends hands-on auditing with technical leadership, ensuring high-quality audit delivery and internal compliance with certification standards. Responsibilities • Plan and conduct third-party audits in compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 20000, and optionally ISO 42001 • Lead on-site and remote audits, managing audit teams and ensuring high audit quality • Evaluate and analyze audit evidence to make certification recommendations • Maintain impartiality, objectivity, and professional integrity during all audit phases • Support witness audits and client interactions to meet accreditation expectations Skills • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or a related field • 3-5 years' experience in Certification Bodies • Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 27001 (required); ISO 20000 preferred • Minimum 5 years of relevant audit experience, including team leadership • Strong understanding of ISO/IEC standards, cybersecurity frameworks, and IT service management best practices • Deep knowledge of ISO 27001 and ISO 20000; working knowledge of ISO 42001 • High-level analytical and decision-making skills • Effective verbal and written communication, particularly in technical environments • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities • Technologically adept; comfortable with audit management tools and platforms • Unwavering professional integrity and ethical standards • ISO 20000 preferred • Training or certification in ISO 42001 (AI Governance) is a plus Benefits • Performance bonus • OT • Medical • Dental • Vision • 401(k) • Paid vacation • Holidays • Professional development support Company Overview • X4 Engineering partner with businesses across the entire engineering spectrum, from early-stage R&D to commercial enterprises to provide world-class talent solutions.
