[Remote] Hydrographic Technical Support Consultant

They are seeking a Hydrographic Technical Support Consultant who will serve as a subject matter expert in hydrographic data processing, providing technical support and training to clients while maximizing the value of CARIS software solutions.ResponsibilitiesProvide first-line technical support to customers via email, phone, and online platformsDeliver software training sessions both remotely and onsite at client locations worldwideBuild and maintain strong working relationships with existing and prospective clientsAnalyze customer environments and challenges to identify technical issues and design integrated solutionsDocument workflows, standard operating procedures, and technical knowledge for internal and client useSupport marketing and sales initiatives, including participation in international conferences and exhibitionsProvide expert consultancy services as experience and expertise deepen in the roleSkillsBachelor's degree in Hydrography, Geomatics, or a related discipline OR equivalent professional experience in hydrographic surveyingExperience with hydrographic software such as EIVA, Hypack, QPS, HIPS and SIPS, or equivalentProficiency in scripting languages (Python preferred)Strong presentation skills and confidence delivering training to diverse audiencesFluency in English (additional languages are an asset)Must be a United States citizen (due to client, regulatory, or project requirements)Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 25–30%)Excellent interpersonal, cross-cultural communication, time management, and problem-solving skillsExperience with CARIS software productsKnowledge of bathymetric LiDAR systemsExperience working with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)Understanding of RESTful APIs, SQL, and JSONCompany OverviewTeledyne Judson Technologies is a designer and manufacturer of high performance infrared detectors and accessory products It was founded in 1969, and is headquartered in Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania, USA, with a workforce of 51-200 employees.
