This role involves supporting the Human Capital team in areas such as recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and various special projects, providing hands-on experience in Human Resources and Business Operations.ResponsibilitiesSource and identify qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, and recruiting platformsSupport proposal staffing efforts and candidate pipeline development for federal government opportunitiesReview resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications and alignment with position requirementsConduct preliminary phone and video interviews to assess candidate qualifications, communication skills, and overall fitDocument interview findings and provide candidate recommendations to hiring managers and leadershipCoordinate candidate communications, interview scheduling, and recruiting activities throughout the hiring processMaintain applicant tracking records and support candidate pipeline management effortsAssist with onboarding activities, including new hire documentation, orientation coordination, and personnel file managementSupport employee engagement initiatives, employee recognition programs, and internal communicationsMaintain recruiting, employee, and workforce data within company systemsAssist with workforce reporting, recruiting metrics, presentations, dashboards, and operational reportingHelp develop and update job descriptions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), forms, templates, and Human Resources documentationConduct research related to recruiting strategies, workforce planning, compensation trends, and human capital initiativesSupport compliance tracking, training record management, personnel documentation, and workforce readiness activitiesAssist leadership with special projects related to Human Resources, Recruiting, Operations, and Business AdministrationProvide administrative and operational support to the Human Capital team and company leadership as neededPerform other duties as assigned in support of organizational objectivesSkillsCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Communications, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related fieldStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsComfortable conducting professional phone and video interviews with candidatesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriatelyAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsSelf-motivated, dependable, professional, and eager to learnAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environmentPrior internship, administrative, recruiting, customer service, Human Resources, or office support experienceInterest in pursuing a career in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, Operations, Organizational Development, or Business AdministrationExperience with LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, SharePoint, ADP, Greenhouse, or similar technologiesExperience conducting interviews, screening candidates, or participating in hiring activitiesExperience creating reports, presentations, process documentation, or workforce analyticsFamiliarity with federal contracting, proposal staffing, workforce planning, or consulting environments is a plusCompany OverviewRegardless of an organization’s mission, manual and time-consuming business processes are still common.
