This role involves coordinating onboarding, managing employee records, supporting recruiting efforts, and enhancing employee communication and culture initiatives.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate end-to-end onboarding activities for new hires, including scheduling, documentation, system setup, and cross-functional communicationPrepare and distribute new hire announcementsMaintain onboarding and offboarding checklists and ensure required tasks are completed on timeSupport offboarding workflows, documentation, and system updatesHelp create a positive and professional employee experience throughout key transition pointsMaintain employee records and data within TriNet and related systemsEnsure employee information is accurate, complete, and up to dateSupport audits, reporting requests, and compliance-related documentationMaintain digital filing systems and People Operations documentationAssist with process improvements that enhance efficiency and organizationPost job openings across recruitment platforms and manage job board activityCoordinate interviews and candidate schedulingCommunicate logistics and updates to candidates and hiring managersSupport candidate pipeline tracking and recruiting documentationAssist with offer letter preparation and distribution using approved templatesDraft and distribute internal People Operations communications, including new hire announcements, reminders, and employee updatesAssist with planning and coordinating employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company eventsMaintain People Operations resources, guides, and internal documentationSupport initiatives that contribute to employee engagement and a positive workplace cultureSupport administration of performance review cycles and employee feedback programsAssist with surveys, reporting, reminders, and process coordinationMaintain People Operations calendars, project timelines, and key milestonesCoordinate logistics for training, development, and leadership programs as neededServe as a first point of contact for employee questions related to benefits, policies, PTO, and People Operations processesCoordinate leave administration processes in partnership with TriNet and internal stakeholdersAssist with payroll-related employee updates and routine payroll inquiriesPartner with the EVP of People & Operations and Office Manager to support People Operations initiatives and organizational prioritiesHelp identify opportunities to improve employee experience and operational effectivenessSkills2+ years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, Recruiting Coordination, Office Administration, or a related fieldExperience working with HRIS, applicant tracking systems, or similar business systemsStrong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong follow-through and ability to work independently with limited oversightDemonstrated ownership of administrative or operational processesComfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersProficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applicationsEnthusiasm for employee experience, workplace culture, and continuous improvementExperience working with TriNet or another PEO platformExperience supporting remote or distributed teamsExperience coordinating recruiting or onboarding programsFamiliarity with leave administration, benefits administration, or payroll processesInterest in media, digital content, or high-growth organizationsCompany OverviewLaw & Crime is the only site for live court video, high-profile criminal trials, crazy crime, celebrity justice, and smart legal analysis.
