[Remote] Human Resources Onboarding Specialist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lakeshore Talent is seeking a Human Resources Onboarding Specialist for a client of ours. This role will support day-to-day operations for contractors on assignment across multiple client accounts, managing high-volume onboarding and ensuring compliance and consistency across accounts.ResponsibilitiesManage onboarding of new contractors by gathering and validating all required legal documentation in alignment with client policiesVerify employment documentation (including I-9 and E-Verify requirements where applicable)Initiate, monitor, and adjudicate background check reportsAssist contractors with new hire paperwork and system setupTrack and manage contractor assignments, including time and expense entry within VMS (Vendor Management Systems) platformsCapture and maintain accurate data across multiple systems to ensure database integrityMonitor onboarding progress and proactively communicate updates to internal and external stakeholdersCollaborate cross-functionally with Client Services, Payroll, Compliance, and Implementation teamsTrack and report missing documentation according to client requirementsMaintain structured, organized records and process documentation for each accountProvide ongoing contractor care throughout assignments, including regular outreach and relationship managementAssist contractors with updates to personal or assignment information in relevant systemsDistribute reporting data on a regular cadence, ensuring accuracy and audit readinessSupport hiring managers with communication regarding policies and proceduresDeliver a high-quality experience to both contractors and clientsSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experiencePrior experience in staffing, workforce solutions, or HR operationsHands-on experience with HRIS systems (required)Experience working within Vendor Management Systems (VMS) such as Fieldglass, Beeline, or similar platforms (required)Experience maintaining databases and managing contractor recordsFamiliarity with CRM platforms (Freshdesk experience is a plus)Experience in a high-volume environmentAbility to manage and learn new technology with ease; managing multiple systems on a day-to-day basisStrong customer service orientation and client partnership mindsetExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong listening skills and ability to resolve inquiries effectivelyHighly detail-oriented, especially in document review and system inputAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsCritical thinking and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a teamCompany OverviewSince 1995, Lakeshore has provided Staffing, Recruiting and Payrolling services to employers in Denver and Chicago across multiple industries.
