[Remote] Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for building and developing successful teams and leaders, overseeing personnel and compliance, and providing advice to senior leaders on personnel matters.ResponsibilitiesProvides leadership and supervision for Human Resources Operations includingDevelop successful teams and leaders within Alliance Dealer SolutionsEffectively supervise and mentor staffCompensation and benefits administration and processing including payroll, workers compensation, unemployment compensation, leaves and performance assessmentCreation and maintenance of electronic human resources records and filesCoordination and monitoring of all recruiting & hiring processesResponding to internal and external requests for service, information, and/or dataProcess and investigate all employee claims of harassment/discrimination and other employee complaintsDelivers high quality generalist human resource services including:Assisting in hiring and screening managers and leadersFacilitating mandatory and optional staff development and trainingManagement of all individual personnel and workforce management actions including hires, promotions/demotions/transfers, terminations and/or layoffs as necessaryEstablish and/or recommend salary ranges, offers, and compensation adjustments and monitor salary reports for equity, compression or other issuesProviding professional level advice and counsel to employees, supervisors, and managers across entire range of employee relations and organizational matters including performance assessment and management, labor relations, corrective actions, dispute resolution, compensation and classification; recruitment and retention; and organizational structure and staffingSupporting employee assistance and wellness initiativesOther related duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in human resources, business, public administration or closely related field (or unrelated degree plus seven additional years of relevant experience)Minimum of five years of increasingly responsible salaried Human Resources administrative and supervisory experienceMust project and uphold the highest ethical standards and have demonstrated leadership ability and excellent interpersonal and communication skillsKnowledge of principles, practices and techniques of human resources administration, organization and operationFully proficient knowledge of state and federal employment lawPrinciples and practices of effective management, training and supervisionMethods and techniques for professional record keeping, writing, reporting and project managementMust quickly develop a solid working knowledge of Alliance Dealer Solutions' work environmentOutstanding interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and conflict mediation skillsAbility to develop innovative solutions tailored to Alliance Dealer Solutions' unique business environmentGrace under pressure – ability to problem solve in a stressful work environmentMust be a proactive problem solverSolid computer/technology skillsResearching, data collection, manipulation and reporting skillsAbility to effectively plan, implement and manage assigned programs and functionsEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organizationalLead, manage, direct and evaluate staffSupervise and participate in the establishment of department and Alliance Dealer Solutions' goals, objectives and methods for evaluating achievement and performance levelsImplement, explain and apply applicable policies, procedures, laws, codes and regulationsAccurately analyze, interpret and evaluate complex administrative and technical issues and data and make appropriate recommendations for actionMake oral presentations to clearly convey information and conceptsWork independently and as a part of a team and ensure safe work practicesHealthcare benefits administration experience a plusSHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or similar certificationExperience supporting multi-state operationsStrong working knowledge of California and Illinois employment lawsExperience in staffing, automotive, hospitality, service, logistics, or other labor-intensive industriesBilingual English/SpanishExperience supporting geographically dispersed workforcesExperience partnering directly with executive leadership teamsCompany OverviewAlliance Dealer Solutions provide a full spectrum of automotive services designed to help dealerships thrive.
