[Remote] Human Resources Manager

This fully remote role will be responsible for owning day-to-day HR operations while supporting thoughtful, scalable people practices.ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage core HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and HR systemsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsPartner with payroll and benefits vendors to ensure accurate and timely administrationMaintain and evolve employee handbook, policies, and documentationServe as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related questionsSupport managers with performance conversations, feedback, and employee relations mattersAssist with investigations, corrective actions, and documentation when neededReinforce clear, consistent, and fair people practices across the organizationSupport performance management processes and review cyclesPartner with the Fractional CPO on career development frameworks and growth conversationsHelp managers align individual performance with team and business goalsSupport the implementation of people programs designed by the Fractional CPOAssist with engagement initiatives and internal communicationsContribute to a culture rooted in trust, accountability, and autonomySkills5+ years of experience in HR or People Operations, ideally in a growing or startup environmentStrong knowledge of employment law and HR best practicesComfortable operating independently while collaborating closely with senior leadersClear, thoughtful communicator with strong judgment and discretionHighly organized with strong follow-throughPassionate about employee growth and strong manager practicesExperience working with a fractional or outsourced HR leadership modelHR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.)Experience supporting remote or distributed teamsBenefitsFully remote roleCompany OverviewG2 Startup Advisors is a human resources consulting company that offers executive search, talent acquisition, and advisory services.
