[Remote] Human Resources Generalist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their team. This role involves supporting the full spectrum of Human Resources functions for a multi-state government contracting organization, focusing on onboarding, compliance, and employee relations.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate full‑cycle onboarding and offboarding, including new‑hire paperwork, background checks, and orientation logisticsDraft offer letters and coordinate all required post‑contingent offer screenings and verificationsPost jobs on internal and external sitesMaintain accurate and compliant employee records, personnel files, and HRIS dataSupport benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee inquiriesSupport the Director of HR in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and state-specific regulationsSupport compliance with government contracting requirements such as OFCCP, EEO reporting, and contract‑specific labor standardsMaintain documentation and audit‑ready files for internal and external reviewsServe as a first point of contact for employee questions and HR support needsAssist with employee relations matters by gathering information, documenting issues, and escalating appropriatelySupport employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communicationsAssist the Director of HR with HR initiatives, policy updates, and process enhancementsSupport HR reporting, metrics tracking, and data analysisContribute to special projects such as handbook updates, system implementations, or training programsOther related duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field2 – 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist or coordinator capacityStrong understanding of HR fundamentals, employment laws, and compliance requirementsExcellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skillsAbility to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretionProficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office SuiteMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureExperience supporting multi‑state HR operations strongly preferredFamiliarity with government contracting environments is a plusExperience with Deltek Costpoint, BambooHR, and/or Employee NavigatorBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife, AD&D, and Short-Term Disability Insurance401(k)Paid Time OffPaid HolidaysEmployee Assistance ProgramCompany OverviewLMR Technical Group specializes in warfighter training, human performance optimization, and development of technology solutions.
