The HR Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making processes by analyzing workforce data and providing actionable insights to support strategic initiatives.ResponsibilitiesCollect, compile, and organize large volumes of workforce data from various sources, including HRIS, payroll systems, employee surveys, and other relevant databasesEnsure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency by conducting regular audits and data validation checksMaintain and update dashboards, ensuring they reflect current and relevant dataConduct in-depth analysis of data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations related to employee performance, retention, recruitment, and other key HR metricsUtilize statistical methods and advanced analytics techniques to uncover insights that drive strategies and business decisionsInterpret complex data sets and translate findings into clear, concise reports and presentations for senior leadership and other stakeholdersDevelop and maintain comprehensive workforce analytics reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platformsCreate visually appealing and easily understandable data visualizations that effectively communicate key insights and trendsPresent findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams, providing context and actionable stepsContinuously seek opportunities to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting processesStay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in workforce analytics and data sciencePropose and implement innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of HR analytics effortsWork closely with HR teams, IT, and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of data analytics initiativesServe as a subject matter expert on data analytics, providing guidance and support to HR colleagues and stakeholdersFoster a data-driven culture within the organization by promoting the use of analytics in decision-making processesSkillsMinimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, preferably within the HR domainProven track record of conducting complex data analysis and presenting actionable insights to senior leadershipProficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, and Microsoft ExcelExpertise in using business intelligence and data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platformsStrong understanding of HRIS systems and workforce data sourcesExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data setsStrong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrityExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise mannerExperience in creating and delivering presentations to diverse audiencesExperience with advanced analytics techniques such as machine learning, predictive modeling, and data miningKnowledge of workforce planning methodologies and best practicesHR data and systems from the National Finance Center (NFC)Experience with Federal HRCompany OverviewAt APV, we are a mission-driven powerhouse that transforms organizations through advanced technology and innovative IT solutions.
