[Remote] Human Resources Assistant II
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. LHH is seeking a Human Resources Assistant II to join a leading client on a 3-month contract assignment. The role involves providing administrative support across various Human Resources functions such as onboarding, compliance tracking, and employee relations in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative support across a variety of Human Resources functions, including hiring, retention, employee relations, performance management, and compliance activitiesCoordinate and manage post-offer employment processes, including collecting and validating candidate information and required hiring documentationConduct employment verifications, reference checks, background screenings, and professional license verifications in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirementsSupport pre-employment screening activities and ensure all requirements are completed accurately and within established timelinesTrack and maintain documentation related to state licensure, certifications, credentialing, and compliance requirementsAdminister onboarding processes, including launching onboarding workflows, tracking completion of required paperwork, and ensuring employee records are complete and compliantMaintain employee files and documentation to ensure audit readiness and regulatory complianceGather, review, and audit documents required for clinical staff credentialing and ongoing compliance activitiesPerform HRIS data entry and system administration within ADP Enterprise, ensuring employee records remain accurate and currentConduct new hire orientation sessions and support training initiatives as neededAssist operational leaders with tracking post-hire requirements, including training completion, license renewals, background checks, and performance evaluationsTrain supervisors on employee evaluation processes and performance management proceduresProvide guidance to employees and managers regarding leave processes through Sedgwick and support leave administration activitiesEnsure compliance with company policies, employment regulations, and organizational proceduresSkillsExperience supporting Human Resources operations, onboarding, credentialing, compliance, or employee relations functionsExperience conducting background checks, employment verifications, and onboarding administrationKnowledge of HR compliance requirements and employee record management practicesExperience working with HRIS systems, preferably ADP EnterpriseFamiliarity with leave administration processes and platforms such as SedgwickStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with employees, managers, and HR teamsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and ExcelExperience supporting healthcare, clinical, or credentialing-related HR functionsExperience with employee onboarding and compliance tracking programsKnowledge of licensure, certification, and credentialing requirementsExperience conducting employee orientations and training sessionsBenefitsBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.Our program provides employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs.Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.Company OverviewAt LHH, we believe work should be meaningful, fulfilling, and connected.
