[Remote] HSI Senior Consultant

Briljent is looking for a Health Strategy & Innovation (HSI) Senior Consultant to work with a team to plan and implement solutions related to health information technology and innovations in healthcare administration. The role involves providing subject matter expertise, leading client meetings, and supporting project implementation to improve outcomes for clients.ResponsibilitiesAs assigned by the Director of HSI Consulting Services, lead or assist with face-to-face meetings with clients to introduce Briljent services, identify current and future needs, and provide input to the client statement of workProvide assistance with the RFP response process as requestedProvides subject matter expertise in the area of Health Information Technology (HIT) to both internal team members and external clients that solve problems and improve outcomesSupports internal and external customers with training and knowledge sharing of HSI national landscape best practices and new procedures as neededUnderstands the importance of qualitative measures and consider the impact on end users, patients and customersMaintains a level of professional engagement and continuing education to guide the organization and customers on future trends and technology requirementsWork with the HIT Project Management Consultant to advise and guide external clients on the plans and implementation of project solutionsFacilitate action and change as appropriate to achieve project successImpart knowledge of improvement process with team leaders. Identify barriers to implementing practice improvement plans and develop strategy to overcome these barriersProvide assistance in maintaining team utilization reports, achieving monthly, quarterly and annual goals related to revenue, net income, etcAssist in the development of project outcome measurements and the development of communication plans. Develop analytic and measurement strategy for all projects undertaken including the development of key metrics, identification of data sources and collection of baseline dataSkillsStrong leadership skills providing guidance and oversightComprehensive research and analytical skillsExtremely organized with meticulous attention to detailProven ability to be trustworthy and to handle confidential and sensitive dataExcellent verbal and written communication skillsConduct oneself with the upmost professionalism in and out of the business arenaPossess a strong consultative mindsetAbility to adapt to ambiguous or evolving requirementsAbility to work on multiple projects and successfully manage competing deadlinesExtremely proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteMaster's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Information Management, Health Information Technology, Health Administration, Information Systems, or a related field of health informatics7+ years' experience in a business or healthcare consultant role5+ years of experience must be in a client, forward-facing, communication lead roleRelevant certifications (Informatics, Project Management, Microsoft or other technical certifications as appropriate)Working knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, industry trends and best practicesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to work independently and as part of larger collaborative teamCompany OverviewBriljent is a professional training company that offers change management and project management services.
