The HRIS Payroll Analyst is responsible for the management and optimization of Workday Payroll, ensuring compliance and integrity in payroll operations.ResponsibilitiesAdminister and optimize Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence modulesConfigure earnings, deductions, pay groups, time codes, accruals, overtime rules, and pay policiesMaintain payroll-related business processes, security roles, and integrationsMonitor inbound and outbound integrations to ensure data accuracy and system stabilitySupport payroll processing cycles through audits, validations, and issue resolutionEnsure payroll and time data integrity through reconciliations and variance analysisMaintain audit-ready documentation and support SOX/internal controlsMonitor regulatory changes impacting payroll and timekeeping practicesDevelop and maintain payroll, time, and absence reporting and dashboardsSupport labor costing accuracy and GL integration in partnership with FinanceProvide workforce and payroll analytics to inform operational decisionsTranslate business requirements into scalable system solutionsLead testing efforts including unit, regression, and UAT cyclesLeverage Workday best practices to reduce manual processes and improve efficiencySkills3+ years of hands-on Workday Payroll experienceExperience supporting Workday Time Tracking and AbsenceStrong knowledge of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and labor lawsExperience supporting audits and maintaining internal controlsProficiency in Workday reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Composite preferred)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skillsCompany OverviewVerra Mobility provides smart mobility, traffic enforcement, and fleet solutions that improve road safety and transportation efficiency.
