Hard Rock International is seeking a highly experienced Senior Workday Configuration Analyst (Tier IV) to serve as the top-tier escalation point for Workday production support and complex configuration changes. This role involves resolving complex system issues, executing advanced configurations across modules, and ensuring the stability and performance of the Workday platform while providing guidance to other analysts.ResponsibilitiesExecute and maintain complex Workday configurations across modules including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Recruiting, Talent, and LearningDesign and implement advanced business processes, condition rules, calculated fields, and security configurationsAct as the final escalation point (Tier IV) for unresolved issues, performing deep-dive root cause analysis and resolution of production defectsTroubleshoot and resolve cross-functional, multi-module issues impacting system functionality, integrations, or data integrityPerform impact analysis for configuration changes and ensure alignment with existing system designOwn and drive resolution of critical incidents, outages, and high-priority defects, ensuring minimal business disruptionProvide guidance and direction to Tier I–III analysts on troubleshooting approaches and resolution strategiesMonitor system health and proactively address recurring issues and systemic defectsPartner with stakeholders to translate production issues into sustainable configuration solutionsMaintain detailed documentation of issues, resolutions, and known errorsLead bi-annual Workday release support activities, including: Feature impact assessments, Regression testing coordination, Configuration adjustments and validationExecute and support unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for system changesEnsure all changes are thoroughly tested and production-ready prior to deploymentSupport deployment activities and post-release stabilization effortsEnsure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of Workday data through audits, validations, and issue resolutionTroubleshoot data discrepancies across modules and correct via configuration or data loadsMaintain and support Workday security roles and domain configurations, ensuring proper access and complianceExecute mass data changes and data loads using EIBs and other toolsDevelop and maintain advanced Workday reports and dashboards to support business operationsTroubleshoot and optimize existing reports for accuracy and performanceUtilize calculated fields and data structures to deliver meaningful insightsSupport business users with ad hoc reporting and data analysis needsPartner with HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Operations teams to understand issues and deliver effective solutionsProvide expert-level consultation on system capabilities and limitations within the context of support and enhancementsParticipate in functional discussions to refine requirements for enhancements and fixesCommunicate complex technical issues and solutions in a clear, business-friendly mannerSupport configurations related to: Shift-based and hourly workforce structures, Union rules and compliance requirements, High-volume seasonal hiring processes, Multi-property and multi-entity operationsEnsure issues and changes align with gaming regulations, labor laws, and operational standardsSkills8+ years of Workday experience, with strong emphasis on production support and configurationProven experience operating at a Tier III+ level with escalation handling responsibilitiesDeep expertise across multiple Workday modules, including: HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Recruiting, Talent, LearningAdvanced skills in: Workday business process framework, Calculated fields and reporting, Security configuration and troubleshooting, Root cause analysis and complex issue resolutionStrong ability to analyze and resolve cross-functional system issuesAbility to work independently while managing multiple high-priority support itemsWorkday Pro Certifications in one or more modulesExperience with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors; Studio exposure preferred)Background in gaming, hospitality, or multi-entity environmentsFamiliarity with Prism Analytics or advanced reporting toolsUnderstanding of HR, payroll, and compliance processesBenefitsWe offer a comprehensive benefits package that allows our team members stay healthy, plan for their future and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
