They are seeking an HR Systems Analyst to serve as a Business Analyst, translating business challenges into solutions for HR technology while partnering with various stakeholders. The role involves analyzing user requirements, managing project communications, and ensuring successful implementations of HR systems.ResponsibilitiesHR Systems Expertise: Consistent, timely, clear communication of status updates, blockers, and additional information needed for enhancement request processing across HR technology landscape, including HRIS, HCM, and employee lifecycle systemsStakeholder Partnership: Partner with HR business partners, People Operations teams, and requestors to clearly define problem statements, success criteria, and business priority of submitted requests within the employee lifecycle domainImpact Assessment: Validate business justification & impact statements submitted by requestors and apply the enhancement impact scoring framework specifically for HR technology initiativesRequirements Management: Organize requirements & collaborate with HR stakeholders, People Operations, engineering partners, and cross-functional teams to answer follow-up questions from engineering & the businessSystem Navigation: Rapid familiarization with multiple HR internal tools & applications, including Workday, Salesforce, DocuSign/ SpringCM, and other employee lifecycle systems; must be able to track down information through searching documentation, connecting with subject matter experts, and following integration patternsSolution Design: Apply sound design & system governance principles to refine & prioritize requirements expressed by stakeholders within HR compliance and policy frameworksProcess Optimization: Learn, follow, and help to refine enhancement request & project processes specifically for HR technology and employee lifecycle improvementsEscalation Management: Receive and handle escalations from HR stakeholders; balance empathy for stakeholders with organizational priorities and engineering capacitySkills5+ years of hands-on experience working with HR systems, HRIS, or HCM platformsDeep understanding of complete employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, performance management, career development, compensation, benefits administration, time & leave management, and offboardingProven experience in HR technology implementations and system integrations across hire-to-retire processesKnowledge of HR compliance frameworks, employment law considerations, and global mobility requirementsExperience with employee experience optimization and People Operations workflows4+ years of hands-on Salesforce and Workday configuration experience across multiple HCM modules including Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Time & Leave, Payroll, and RecruitingThorough knowledge of Workday Security provisioningProven experience with Workday integrations, including Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), and WWS (Workday Web Services) APIsUnderstanding of Workday functional areas, including security model, business processes, and reporting capabilitiesExperience with Workday data management, calculated fields, and custom reportingKnowledge of enterprise integration patterns and middleware solutions with WorkdayStrong experience in requirements collection & definition, specifically for HR technology projectsExceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex HR processes into technical requirementsAdvanced problem-solving skills and attention to detail in the HR systems contextStrong interpersonal skills for working with diverse HR stakeholdersProven ability to work independently and manage multiple HR technology projects simultaneouslyExpert knowledge of solution design & business system governance within the HR domainComprehensive understanding of HR business applications & architectureStrong knowledge of system integration patterns and API managementExperience with UAT planning and execution for HR system implementationsProficiency in drafting technical documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, and process flowsUnderstanding of change management and impact assessment methodologiesKnowledge of data privacy and security considerations in HR systems (GDPR, employee data protection)Deep knowledge across employee lifecycle and Workday HCM modulesExperience translating HR business processes into technical solutions across multiple applicationsAbility to facilitate requirements gathering and manage expectations across HR and engineering teamsExperience with the Salesforce platform for HR systems integration and case managementUnderstanding of Salesforce Service Cloud for employee support workflowsKnowledge of Salesforce AI capabilities, including Agentforce and Einstein for automationExperience with Salesforce-Workday integrations and data synchronizationKnowledge and/or hands-on experience with AI tools, including conversational AI, workflow automation, and process optimizationExperience implementing AI processes and solutions within the HR technology stackUnderstanding of automation opportunities in employee lifecycle processesFamiliarity with AI-enabled HR technologies and digital transformation initiativesDocuSign/SpringCM experience for document automation and employee onboardingAdvanced ability to multitask and prioritize multiple HR technology initiativesChange control board experience for HR technology governanceProject management experience in HR system implementationsExperience with global HR operations and multi-entity configurationsBenefits401(k).Dental Insurance.Health insurance.Vision insurance.Company OverviewOP is one of the fastest-growing technology consulting and solutions companies in the U.S. It was founded in 2006, and is headquartered in Irvine, California, USA, with a workforce of 201-500 employees.
