[Remote] HR Project Manager (Contract Talent)

This role will lead the delivery of high-priority, technical HR initiatives, overseeing project execution from planning through testing and deployment.ResponsibilitiesLead medium to large-scale global HR projects; Define scope, plan, and manage all phases of delivery including requirements, design, build, testing, deployment, and stabilizationDevelop and maintain project plans, timelines, and reporting; proactively manage scope and changeAct as Test Lead for larger scale projects; establish a test plan detailing approach, ensure test cases are created, loaded and monitored throughout the testing lifecycleEstablish governance and communication strategies to keep stakeholders aligned on status, risks, and deliverablesPartner with cross-functional leaders to identify resources, resolve issues, and drive decisionsIdentify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomesOversee all project activities including analysis, development, testing, training, and deploymentMonitor implementation progress, drive issue resolution, and continuously optimize delivery plansServe as Test Lead, establishing test strategy, plans, and calendars across all phasesManage testing approach, ensuring full traceability to requirements and effective defect resolutionEnsure quality of test cases, data preparation, execution, and defect managementUtilize tools such as qTest and Jira to track requirements, testing progress, and defectsLead deployment planning and execution, ensuring production readinessManage post-implementation activities, including lessons learned and adoptionContribute to PMO methodology enhancementsSkillsBachelor's degree (Business, HR, or related field) or equivalent experience5–10 years of project/program management and testing experienceStrong expertise in project planning, execution, and test managementProficiency with Microsoft 365 tools; experience with qTest and/or Jira preferredExcellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skillsDemonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and drive outcomesPMP certification and Workday experience preferredBenefitsBenefits are available to contract/temporary professionals, including medical, vision, and dental, and life and disability insurance.Hired contract/temporary professionals are also eligible to enroll in our company 401(k) plan.Company OverviewRobert Half provides staffing, recruiting, finance, and accounting services.
