They are seeking a detail-oriented HR Operations Specialist to support employee lifecycle activities and ensure data accuracy during a period of operational change.ResponsibilitiesExecute onboarding and offboarding steps for employees and contractors across a global team—including US and UK activities—in Workday, following established SOPs to ensure accuracy and timelinessProcess employment changes—job changes, org changes, contract amendments, and manager updates—for both US and UK employees within defined workflowsPrepare employment documentation such as change letters and contract amendments for review and approval, and support accurate storage in WorkdayHelp facilitate coordination across HR, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, IT, Accounting, and Payroll to ensure lifecycle changes are completed on timeSubmit background check requests and follow up on progress through the hiring process, keeping relevant parties informedEnsure accurate data entry for employee and contractor records in Workday, flagging discrepancies to the team for resolutionAssist with routine data audits and clean-up efforts to support system integrityHelp respond to reporting requests from HR and business partners, pulling data accurately and on timeHelp support US I-9 compliance monitoring and UK right to work check coordination as part of onboarding workflowsReview onboarding and lifecycle compliance materials on a regular cadence to confirm accurate completion and appropriate capture in WorkdayAdhere to established SOPs and flag process gaps or outdated documentation to the managerAssist with ad-hoc compliance and operational hygiene projects as directedTrack and follow up on tasks across Workday, Asana, Slack, and email to ensure execution remains seamlessServe as a responsive point of contact for HR partners and cross-functional stakeholders on lifecycle and coordination questionsSurface issues and timeline risks early, escalating to the manager rather than waiting for problems to compoundSkills1–3+ years of experience in HR operations, people operations, HR coordination, or a similar fast-paced operational roleWorkday experience preferred—familiarity with employee lifecycle transactions, data entry, and basic reporting within an HRISStrong attention to detail with a consistent track record of accurate, timely work in a fast-moving environmentClear written and verbal communication skills across multiple channels and stakeholder groups—erring on the side of overcommunication when in doubtComfortable managing competing priorities under time pressure without sacrificing accuracyProactive about surfacing issues rather than waiting for them to escalateExperience with Google Workspace, Asana, and SlackDemonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information—including compensation, immigration, and personal data—with professionalism, discretion, and strict data hygieneHunger to deliver game-changing productsExceptional drive and precision in deliveryA belief that your work is tied to your life's missionOptimistic about the potential of societal changeBenefitsFlexible work locationMonthly Acorns account contribution & GoHenry account for your family.Mindfulness and Financial Wellness resources, Headspace and Addition Wealth.Talented and motivated team members who care deeply about one another, our mission, and our customers.The rare opportunity to create a new world.
