[Remote] Healthcare Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Wimmer Solutions is seeking a Healthcare Regulatory Compliance Specialist to support compliance systems and processes in the healthcare sector. The Specialist will lead transparency reporting efforts, monitor compliance activities, and enhance HCP engagement processes while ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations.ResponsibilitiesLead, in coordination with the Operations Senior Manager, the operational execution of U.S. federal and state healthcare transparency reporting (e.g., Open Payments/Sunshine Act) as well as applicable state or global disclosure requirementsPartner with internal stakeholders and vendors to collect, validate, and reconcile HCP transfer-of-value dataSupport the preparation and submission of transparency reports, managing inquiries and disputes, and maintain required documentation and audit-ready data trailsMonitor evolving federal, state, and global transparency requirements and supports updates to internal processes, controls, and training to maintain ongoing complianceDrive and support process improvement strategies to enhance data collection, data quality, and overall reporting efficiencySupport compliance monitoring activities related to HCP engagements, including speaker programs, consulting arrangements, advisory boards, and other interactionsAssist with review of payments, contracts, and supporting documentation to ensure alignment with internal policies and external requirementsTrack and follow up on corrective actions, trends, and recurring issues identified through monitoringPartner with Commercial, Medical, Finance, and IT on the enhancement and ongoing use of HCP engagement and payment systemsServe as a compliance operations point of contact for system workflows, data quality issues, and user questionsSupport testing, validation, and documentation when systems or vendors changeSupport the Annual Needs Assessment function and development of business specific documents. Monitor all U.S. HCP engagement activities throughout the year to ensure alignment with defined business needs and compliance requirementsConduct comprehensive Due Diligence on all HCPs (and related entities) and HCOs considered for consulting or clinical engagements, providing the business with a consolidated overview of all company historical and current interactions, along with clearly documented Due Diligence findingsMaintain and execute Due Diligence checks in accordance with applicable laws and internal policies, ensuring ongoing compliance and up to date risk assessment practicesMaintain repository of Due Diligence reportsSupport FMV processes for HCP engagements, including application of FMV methodologies, rate cards, and documentation standardsPartner with the business to ensure engagements are structured and documented consistently with FMV principlesCoordinate with vendors or internal teams supporting FMV analyses, as applicableWork closely with the Operations Senior Manager on planning, prioritization, and execution of compliance operations initiativesContribute to the development and maintenance of SOPs, job aids, and training materials related to compliance operationsSupport audits, inspections, and internal requests related to transparency and HCP engagement activitiesSkillsBachelor's degree required; background in compliance, healthcare, finance, operations, or a related field preferred2–5 years of experience in healthcare compliance, transparency reporting, compliance operations, or a related operational roleExperience working with compliance or payment systems, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholdersStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlinesPractical, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to balance compliance requirements and business needsStrong written and verbal communication skillsOperational execution and follow-throughSystems and data fluencyCross-functional collaborationRisk awareness with practical judgmentProcess improvement mindsetBackground in compliance, healthcare, finance, operations, or a related fieldFamiliarity with U.S. Sunshine Act / Open Payments and HCP engagement processes strongly preferredCompany OverviewWimmer Solutions is a provider of consulting and staffing services, professional services.
