The Healthcare Financial Advisory Services Associate will deliver high-impact financial insights, manage project workstreams, and collaborate with clients to optimize financial management and improve clinical outcomes.ResponsibilitiesOwn project workstreams by structuring problems, prioritizing analyses, and delivering high-quality outputs under tight timelinesGather, analyze, and synthesize primary and secondary data to develop actionable client insightsBuild and communicate clear, client-ready materials, including presentations and written deliverablesCollaborate with project teams to diagnose client challenges and develop practical, data-driven recommendationsSupport firm growth through proposal development, business development efforts, and mentoring junior team membersSkillsMinimum of 2 years of consulting experience in healthcare financial advisory supporting provider clients such as health systems, hospitals, and other acute care organizations, or comparable experience within a health system or provider organization in a strategic financial leadership capacityStrong understanding of healthcare finance, including capital planning, liquidity management, and financial performance driversExperience in restructuring, turnaround, performance improvement, or similarly rigorous financial advisory environmentsProven ability to lead complex analytical workstreams with strong project management, client communication, and strategic problem-solving skillsAdvanced financial analysis and modeling capabilities, including evaluation of financial statements, valuation, pro forma modeling, and discounted cash flow analysisAbility to translate complex financial and corporate finance concepts into clear, executive-level insights and recommendationsProficiency in healthcare accounting and financial reporting, including monthly operating reports, statements, schedules, and overhead or operational improvement analysisBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferredBenefitsHuronâs annual incentive compensation programHuronâs benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programsCompany OverviewHuron is a global professional services firm that collaborates with organizations to solve complex challenges and achieve ambitious goals.
