They are currently looking for a Healthcare Data Analyst III to analyze healthcare data and support decision-making in medical economics, partnering with business and clinical teams to deliver insights that improve outcomes.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Analyse claims, provider, member, and encounter data
ā¢ Develop and maintain reports using SQL, Excel, and Power BI
ā¢ Identify trends, anomalies, and cost drivers; perform root-cause analysis
ā¢ Support medical economics initiatives (MLR, QAI, ROI, pricing)
ā¢ Present insights to non-technical stakeholders
ā¢ Collaborate cross-functionally and guide junior analysts
Skills
ā¢ 4+ years of experience
ā¢ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
ā¢ Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace analytics
ā¢ Strong SQL (complex queries, joins)
ā¢ Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
ā¢ Power BI (DAX, Power Pivot)
ā¢ Knowledge of DRG, APC, EAPG payment methodologies
ā¢ Managed Care / Medical Economics experience
ā¢ Python or R
ā¢ Actuarial or healthcare financial consulting experience
