[Remote] Healthcare Business Intelligence Analyst - ONLY W2
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. nTech Workforce is a leading healthcare organization seeking a Senior Health Intelligence Analyst. In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between business operations and technical data delivery, owning the reporting lifecycle for major state contracts to improve healthcare delivery and compliance.
Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end operational reporting cycles, from initial requirements gathering through final delivery
• Act as the primary reporting lead for assigned clients, navigating complex healthcare data models to ensure accuracy
• Analyze data trends (e.g., provider quality, member outreach) and draft executive-ready summaries and commentary
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract data from MS SQL or Oracle databases
• Design and maintain reporting artifacts in various formats including Excel (macros), SSRS, and PowerPoint
• Drive "BI Governance" by identifying opportunities to standardize reports and reduce redundancy
Skills
• 7+ years of experience in analytics or operational reporting
• Advanced proficiency in SQL (joins, data lineage, troubleshooting) and Excel (macros and complex formulas)
• Significant experience in the healthcare or managed care industry
• Experience navigating complex healthcare data models to ensure accuracy
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with Microsoft reporting stack, specifically SSRS
• Experience with Power BI and transitioning legacy reports to modern BI tools
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM as a data source for healthcare applications
• Experience in behavioral health, EAP, or population health analytics
• Knowledge of data warehouse and business intelligence methodologies
• Experience with QA workflows and frameworks
