**Job Summary**

As a Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in helping patients and their families understand their medical bills and providing them with options to resolve them. You will work as an extended business office representative on behalf of our clients, using empathy, fantastic listening, verbal, and written communication skills to provide outstanding customer service. Your responsibilities will include:

* Using empathy and fantastic listening, verbal, and written communication skills to help patients and their families understand confusing, and often times unexpected, medical bills.
* Providing outstanding customer service and collaborating with patients over the phone on affordable payment plans, and taking payments by phone.
* Using your computer proficiency, organization, and attention to detail to accurately document all calls and follow-ups in our software systems throughout each day.
* Supporting your fellow team members with consistent attendance, excellent work ethic, and caring team focus.
* Continuously improving, with supportive coaching/feedback from your manager and team leads and ongoing training.

**What You'll Need**

* 1-2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* Proficiency in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
