Key Responsibilities
Ā Foster positive and supportive interactions with members through various communication methods.
Ā Clearly articulate services to members and secure their consent for participation in call initiatives.
Ā Coordinate care actions in accordance with established agreements with health plans and referring providers.
Ā Initiate prompt outreach to members, verify eligibility, and meticulously document all interactions in line with call center standards.
Ā Schedule appointments using our designated system to facilitate a smooth experience for members.
Ā Operate independently from your remote workstation, utilizing company-provided telecommunication systems.
Ā Adhere to HIPAA regulations and internal company policies during all activities.
Ā Perform additional tasks related to the call center as necessary.
Required Skills
Ā Completion of high school diploma or GED; additional college education or medical certification is advantageous.
Ā Prior experience in a call center or customer service role is preferred.
Ā Familiarity with medical terminology and member care is a plus.
Ā Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish, are highly regarded.
Ā Flexibility to work weekend shifts is an asset.
Ā Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Ā Strong multitasking abilities, including the capacity to navigate multiple digital screens while maintaining accurate call documentation.
Ā Excellent communication skills, with an aptitude for building rapport and adjusting tone to meet caller needs.
