The Health Guide serves as a trusted advisor, helping members make informed health and financial decisions while enhancing their overall healthcare experience and outcomes.ResponsibilitiesAct as a trusted advisor to members, guiding them through their healthcare journeyUse customer service and motivational interviewing skills to assess member needs and provide tailored supportMotivate and encourage members to achieve their health goalsAssist members in creating and executing a healthy vision for care successProvide education, referrals, concierge assistance, navigation, and guidance as neededUnderstand clinical conditions to direct members to appropriate resources without offering formal medical adviceIdentify and refer members to additional programs or services when necessaryCommunicate effectively across phone, chat, email, and messaging, adapting styles to meet diverse member needsDeliver exceptional customer service consistentlyListen for barriers or gaps in care and address them through appropriate interventionsUtilize knowledge of the healthcare system to independently support membersSkillsMinimum 1 year of customer service experienceProven use of AI tools to enhance efficiency, automate processes, or improve decision-makingIntermediate understanding of healthcare systems and insuranceExperience navigating benefits in a call center environmentStrong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple prioritiesCritical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency with PC-based word processing and database tools (Word, Excel, Internet, Outlook, Zoom)Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plusAccess to a designated, distraction-free home office with high-speed internetBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent of 5 years' experience in health, healthcare, education, social work, or a related fieldInterest in personalized support that values the whole personAbility to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentFlexibility, resilience, openness to new ideas, and willingness to take on new responsibilitiesWarm, humble, and relationship-focused approachCompany OverviewRemoteHunter is your dedicated AI job search assistant, turning the job hunt from a slow, individual effort into a quicker, smarter, and guided experience by streamlining each step of the process and speeding up your path to the right career opportunities.
