[Remote] Head of R&D / Engineering Manager (Accet & Cyber Security)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Expert Executive Recruiters (EER Global) is assisting a global company in the field of physical and cyber asset security. They are seeking a driven and technically strong leader to take full ownership of the company’s R&D direction, leading development teams in creating AI-powered solutions that merge computer vision, deep learning, and automation. Responsibilities • Lead and coordinate software development team (10-15 employees) across SW development, AI, computer vision, and cybersecurity projects. • Architect scalable SW solutions that integrate analytics, automation, and cloud-native infrastructures. • Define and maintain engineering standards, ensuring product quality, security, and performance. • Collaborate with leadership to define long-term technology direction and product roadmap. • Mentor engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence and innovation. • Drive adoption of AI and ML technologies across product components. • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity principles and best practices. Skills • 12+ years of experience in SW development. • At least 4+ recent years - within computer vision and AI driven solutions/ products is a must • 3+ years of proven experience leading engineering teams in product or R&D organizations. • Strong proficiency in Python (preferred); experience with Django, C/C++, C#, Go, or similar languages is an advantage. • Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts and computer vision technologies. • Experience developing or integrating security systems or mission-critical platforms. • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and modern DevOps practices. • Strong technical and communication skills with ability to collaborate with cross-functional leadership. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
